I grew up in Western Washington, and raised my children there. Stints in Utah and North Dakota broadened my horizons, and retirement brought me back to where I first belonged. Every home I have had has been lovingly improved–at least I hope they were improved! People have commented that I always had a project going, and they enjoyed watching my progress. My efforts, from building chicken coops, nest boxes and hay sheds to raising flowers and vegetables, landscaping and interior decorating, have made my life busy, and my mistakes have always taught me something. It’s a good thing, since I make so many of them! I have had to find ways to work around my age (65), health issues (too numerous to list) and lack of both money and expertise, to accomplish what needed to be done. I don’t always do things well, but by golly, I get things done.
